Dear Marlene,
This is a much belated thank you, though no less sincere. I want to properly acknowledge all you did. I will never know what inspired you to talk with me, but you are the catalyst that changed the direction of my life and the lives of my daughters. I will always be thankful for your generosity and thoughtfulness.
When we met my life was out of my control. You empowered me with knowledge and confidence. I found the strength to accomplish what I needed to do for my future. Our divorce was finalized in March and both of us are satisfied with the outcome, thanks to you. More importantly, we have maintained a civilized relationship. Phew! You called every move by him, play by play. Your predictions kept me calm and helped me know what to do and how to mange him.
Life is good and moving forward. I am relieved and relaxed for the first time in years! You saved my family. You directly changed what happened to these three girls. C-1 is graduating form UC DAVIS in June. She has been accepted into doctoral program for the fall. C-2 is completing her second successful year at CalPoly San Louis Obispo. She is majoring in kinesiology and minoring in gerontology and music. And lastly, C-3! The main focus of my life. She is finishing the 3rd grade and is emotionally happy and loving. Her academics and extra curricular keep us busy. Because of you I am able to properly deal with her special needs.
Thank you Marlene. Maybe you have seen other women like me and recognized the resignation and hopelessness. No one else knows this. But I need you to know. I was on a path of destruction and you saved me. You saved my family. I will be forever thankful!
I hope you enjoy the small token of my sincere appreciation.
Thank you and God Bless,
C.C.

Dear Mr. Genochio:
“ Thank you, thank you, thank you” for the marvelous outcome you were able to obtain on my daughters behalf and I appreciate all your efforts to help her. I am eternally grateful that you were her lawyer in what has been a nightmare for 10-1/2 years. This has taken so much added stress out her life and she now continue to get on with putting together the rest of her life. Hopefully, there will be no “retaliation or punishment” from her X!!!!!
Again, thank you very much from a very grateful mother.
Sincerely,
J.S.
